Yo sorry for the lack of posts but I’ve been maaaad busy. Alotta outta town gigs + moving = headache. But I’m back in good ol’ Bloomington for the week, so let’s play catch up.
First let’s talk about how great Louisville is! Dudes Gone Wild is growing into an epic party. We had our first guest, nice dj and all-around good dude, DJ Slugger, who came through and dropped a set. The warehouse party was jumpin, I haven’t got an official head count but it was packed until 4am. Beachmonkey came through both spots and documented everyone wildin’ out.

I’m doing a cool afterparty on Sunday at the Forecastle Festival. Big outdoor stage, full bar, and ITS FREE. Alot of good acts playing the festival such as; Devlin & Darko, Z-Trip, and Tortoise.

I’ve been waiting for this to drop since the youtube trailer was released, (it must be 2008 when even mixtapes have video trailers), and now it’s here. I’ve only had time to skim through it real quick but it lives up to the hype…the last track and the one over “Pink & Blue” are my favorites. I’ve been wanting to do something with that track for a minute, but they beat me to the punch .

We (Rad Summer) have been kinda quite in Bloomington this summer, Fluffy’s been touring and I’ve been playing in Indy and Louisville alot. But… we’re teaming up with Total Trash Tuesdays at the Bluebird to throw a big dance party along with Totally Michael and Andy D on July 22nd. It’s only $3 and should be the real deal Holyfield jump-off.
