Scion Radio 17 Monthly , Rad Summer, and Dope Couture Present:
DJ MEHDI & RITON AS CARTE BLANCHE (Ed Banger / Paris, UK)
On their first world tour. Strictly house music, no bangers!
DJ Mehdi from Paris and the UK’s Riton recently teamed up to form a supergroup of house music called Carte Blanche. Busy P heard the results and immediately signed the group to Ed Banger records, for a 5-track EP called Black Billionaires out on May 31st.
Mehdi has spent the last 4 years touring the world with Justice and A-Trak, and remixing the likes of Santigold and Busta Rhymes, all while producing his own tracks and releasing an album on Ed Banger.
Riton is a veteran Newcastle DJ with the Radio Soulwax family, who has remixed LCD Soundsystem and Crookers, and took the number one spot in the Kraut Rock charts in 2008 with his Eine Kleine Nacht Musik project on Modular Records.
Together they are Carte Blanche - Think of them as Europe’s answer to Duck Sauce. All house music, all night long!
